Aussie surfer John Williams, who recently got his first wave in the blue waters of New South Wales, has taken to social media to warn people to be cautious when surfing in Sydney.
Williams, who is a member of the Sydney Surf League, posted a photo of himself in the surf spot where he was surfing with a friend.
“I am so excited to share this with you.
I hope this helps you get some surf!” he wrote.”
Be careful when surfing, as this is a safe place and it’s the best place to be for surfers to relax.
We can’t really explain it.”
He added: “We can’t tell you how good it is, but it’s not something that you should be looking for, as it’s just a safe spot.”
Williams said the spot had been “unfazed” by the wave.
“There’s a big wave coming right now and the waves are really strong,” he said.
“We were a bit worried that we might get knocked out of the surf, but we’ve been able to hold on and keep going.”
